5:30 - 9:00 Wednesday
Apolline is dressed in a draped silk gown with puffy sleeves, her waist cinched in with a corset. She has a shoulder necklace and headpiece in the famous Art Nouveau style (nearly the same era as Tiffany in the USA).
In this class I wanted to focus on the draping technique and the making of adornments.
The kit includes the acrylic painted doll, the fabrics and trims needed. The box for the finished doll and main supplies are provided.
You will need to bring:
- additional light
- cork board (or polystyrene box - the ones with raw meat inside at the supermarket)
- very sharp scissors
- long sewing needle (for making dolls, or the smaller size of knitting needle)
Registration and payment by PayPal are due by the end of March 2020.
